{"id":32,"date":"2011-05-23T17:05:09","date_gmt":"2011-05-23T17:05:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.jenniferhardesty.com\/?p=32"},"modified":"2011-05-26T13:31:14","modified_gmt":"2011-05-26T13:31:14","slug":"may-23-meal-log","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.jenniferhardesty.com\/?p=32","title":{"rendered":"May 23"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So, Its is now May 23, almost 3 months after my &#8220;Day One&#8221; post, and here are the results&#8230; not much.<\/p>\n<p>I lost about 10 pounds&#8230; it was early on, so the only real positive thing I can say is that I kept it off and I didn&#8217;t completely jump off the bandwagon.<\/p>\n<p>So, in an attempt to renew my efforts, I will start posting my food log Daily&#8230; dum da duuuum.<\/p>\n<p>Here it is:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Breakfast <\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nOne un-yummy Carnation Instant Breakfast Essentials<br \/>\n<em>*note* I spilled a good portion of this on my desk, so an unknown quantity of these calories were actually consumed by my wastebasket.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Calories:<\/strong> 250<br \/>\n<strong>Total Fat: <\/strong>5g<br \/>\n<strong>Sat. Fat: <\/strong>1.5g<br \/>\n<strong>Cholesterol: <\/strong>10mg<br \/>\n<strong>Sodium: <\/strong>180mg<br \/>\n<strong>Protein: <\/strong>14g<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Snack One<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span>One Serving of Planters Dry Roasted Peanuts<\/p>\n<p><strong>Calories:<\/strong> 160<br \/>\n<strong>Total Fat: <\/strong>14g<br \/>\n<strong>Sat. Fat: 2g<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Cholesterol: <\/strong>0mg<br \/>\n<strong>Sodium: <\/strong>190mg<br \/>\n<strong>Protein: <\/strong>7g<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Lunch<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong>Two Fantastic servings of Campbells Chunky New England Clam Chowder<br \/>\nand I added 1 packet of chick-fil-a salt, because these soups have been disturbingly bland.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Calories:<\/strong> 130<br \/>\n<strong>Total Fat: <\/strong>3g<br \/>\n<strong>Sat. Fat: <\/strong>1g<br \/>\n<strong>Cholesterol: <\/strong>10mg<br \/>\n<strong>Sodium: <\/strong>410mg<br \/>\n<strong>Protein: <\/strong>5g<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Snack Two<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong>One cup of Dannon Activia Light, Blueberry<br \/>\nI did not have high hopes for this blueberry yogurt, but I was pleasantly surprised.  Pretty good for only 70 calories and 0 fat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Calories:<\/strong> 70<br \/>\n<strong>Total Fat: <\/strong>0g<br \/>\n<strong>Sat. Fat: <\/strong>0g<br \/>\n<strong>Cholesterol: &lt;<\/strong>5mg<br \/>\n<strong>Sodium: <\/strong>65mg<br \/>\n<strong>Protein: <\/strong>4g<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Dinner<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nSalmon burger<br \/>\nSalmon patty 130 calories<br \/>\n1tbsp mayo 100ish calories<br \/>\nBun, 100ish calories<br \/>\nLettuce, tomato<\/p>\n<p>1 peanut butter cookie &#8230; Yeah I know shame on me(200ish)<\/p>\n<p>Juice 2 cups, 200ish calories<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Totals So Far<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong>It looks (with the numbers) that I went overboard on the sodium, but I just looked it up on google and came up with a site that basically identifies a daily sodium intake minimum of 1500 milligrams and maximum of 2300 milligrams. Fat: <\/strong>4.5g<br \/>\n<strong>Cholesterol: &lt;<\/strong>35mg<br \/>\n<strong>Sodium: <\/strong>1255mg (and whatever comes in a small packet of salt)<br \/>\n<strong>Protein: <\/strong>35g<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">End of Day Summary<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today was not really a fail, \u00a01400ish calories is still probably lower than my calorie burn for today, not that I used my body bugg to know for sure.<\/p>\n<p>I did learn something though, \u00a0If it is my intention to go home and do a workout upon arrival, I should not call my dad on the way home from work. \u00a0I love my dad, but man that guy can talk. \u00a0I am not sure if I fall into that category or not&#8230; I know I did when I was in high school.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So, Its is now May 23, almost 3 months after my &#8220;Day One&#8221; post, and here are the results&#8230; not much.
